Clear Books integrated with GoCardless
We have integrated with GoCardless! This is extremely exciting news as it means that collecting payment from your customers is even easier.
GoCardless is a next generation direct debit service that will allow you to accept one off and pre authorised regular payments from your customers at the click of a button. Signing up to GoCardless is instant and completely free with no subscription or setup fees. You will only be charged 1% per transaction and this fee is capped at just £2.00.

Email Attachments
You are now able to attach documents to emails sent to your customers through Clear Books in a number of different ways:
- One off attachments – when sending an email manually you are able to attach up to 3 different documents.
- Global attachments – you are able to upload up to 2 different global documents which can be attached to your emails at the click of a button. Just head to “Sales > Email > Attachments”.
- Default global attachments – if you would like your global documents to be attached to your emails by default you can enable this too. Just make sure the “Attached by default” box is checked next to the relevant attachment.

The CIS Payments and Deductions Statement has had a revamp so make sure to familiarise yourself with the new layout if the Construction Industry Scheme applies to your business.
